Sketches of Norway is a major work, a music album including 7 tunes and 47 photographs,
presented together or seperately. It’s based on my impressions and experiences
releated to the Corona virus pandemic, a journey of different moods and athmospheres.
We all know how our life dramatically changed overnight and we all know the meanings of
lockdown, quarantine, mutation, intensive care etc, and to many of us, culture in crisis.
An important story was to be told.
Since my last album Circles released in 2020 I did continue my music based on improvisation
and the first tune was New waterways, August 2020.
I even wrote a poem for this occasion, You and a song you’ll never know

The first photographs of this collection was taken january 2021, it was cold, a meter of snow
and the nature at that time lend itself to black and white photographs, something in between
a photograph and a pencil drawing. I prefer to improvise with my camera,
ICM, multi exposures and exposure compensation to my preferences.
Summer came with the most beautiful colours and created superb opportunitys for photography,
even black and white is fantastic for summer landscapes.
Photography of landscape, nature, city/park, people, outdoors or indoors,
during the pandemic, a strong wind blew me in a positive direction resulting in this project,
